The Cypress Creek Community Chorale's next adventure is to Scotland in June of 2020 with a stopover on the way home in Iceland! Come join us either as singers or as friends and family of the singers.

If flight taxes or fuel surcharges increase between the time the tour is confirmed and the time tickets are issued, the group will be invoiced for any amount beyond what has been included in the tour package price.

Depart from Houston to Edinburgh, Scotland
Day 2 - Friday, June 12, 2020
Morning arrival in Edinburgh. Meet a local guide for a panoramic city tour including the Royal Mile, the Papalce of the Holyrood House, Church of the Tollboth St. John, and the old Parilament House, as well as old town. Enjoy a welcome dinner to celebrate your arrival in Scotland.
Day 3 - Saturday, June 13, 2020
Depart for Edinburgh Castle to see the Scottish crown jewels, the Stone of Scone and the National War Memorial. In the afternoon will be rehearsal time and an evening friendship concert at St. Giles' Cathedral (High Kirk of Edinburgh) or other church.
Day 4 - Sunday, June 14, 2020
Depart for a day trip to Glasgow, including a city tour. Visit George Square, and see the Glasgow Cathedral. After lunch visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to perform for their afternoon recital series. After singing there, visit Glasgow Cathedral of St. Mungo and the St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art. Return to Edinburgh for independent dining.
Day 5 - Monday, June 15, 2020
Depart for a day trip to Dunblane, a small Scottish town northwest of Edinburgh along the allan Water. Begin rehearsal for a lunchtime concert at Dunblane Cathedral. Afterward, travel to Stirling, the ancient capital of Scotland. Visit Stirling Castle. Return to Edinburgh that evening for dinner.
Day 6 - Tuesday, June 16, 2020
Take in a workshop with a local Scottish choir director and learn about the local choral traditions. Afterward, there is free time in Edinburgh and time to shop, participate in a group tour, and prepare for the farewell dinner at The Spirit of Scotland show. After dinner, pack and prepare for the return flight to Texas.
Day 7 - Wednesday, June 17, 2020
Check out of the hotel and either depart for Rejkyavik or Houston.
Day 7-9 Wednesday, June 17, 2020 - Friday June 19, 2020
Explore Rejkyavik, Iceland (prices not set yet) and the surrounding icelandic country, including learning of Icelandic music.
Day 10 - Saturday, June 20, 2020
